COBB COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

The above pictured individuals, Timothy Preston Robertson, and Timothy Bryan Dotts, are wanted for questioning in a string of roofing scams wherein they provide estimates for repairs and get money up front (typically between $2,000.00 and $4,000.00) to “buy materials” and never return to do the work. To date, victims have been identified in unincorporated Cobb County , City of Acworth , Paulding and Bartow counties.

 

Robertson drives a white 2002 Ford F150 pickup truck. He currently has an active warrant for his arrest for probation violation out of Cobb County .

 

Dotts drives a red 2000 Ford F150 pickup truck . He does not have any active warrants at this time.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today the investigation into a series of armed robberies spanning June 6, 2009 to August 1, 2009 and two states.  Sheriff Leon Lott stated that armed robbers have laid in wait until closing time and at gunpoint forced managers of seven

restaurants to re-enter the businesses -- stealing money from the businesses and personal valuables of the employees.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the robbers drive up to the location, as the manager is approaching their car to leave, and block the manager in with the suspect vehicle. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that all of the armed robberies occurred at closing time but involved different suspect vehicles - believed to be rental cars. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that it is believed that three suspects, all described as black males, are involved in the string of robberies. Sheriff Leon Lott added that the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Forensic Artist has been able to provide a sketch of what the suspects are believed to look like and that one of the robberies was captured on video surveillance (showing one of the suspects inside the business). Both the sketches, suspect vehicles and still photograph are shown below.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that there is a reward of up to $1000 cash for information leading to the identity of those responsible.

COBB COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT CASE # 09065998

 

On 16 May 2009 (Saturday) at approx. 0930 hours, the above-pictured suspects entered the victim's place of business located at 425 Barrett Parkway Kennesaw , Ga 30152 (Sally's Beauty Supply) and stole the victim's credit cards, checks, and other personal identification from her purse. The suspects then purchased gift cards at the Target and Wal-mart at the above mention addresses. The suspects are believed to be driving a mid 90's dark colored Ford Mustang.

On 24 Jun 2009 (Wednesday) at approx. 1250 hours, the above-pictured suspects entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole $ 420.00 in cash. The victim had left his window down and the door unlocked. The suspects are described as follows:

 

  1. White male, 5'7'', 125 lbs, dark hair, wearing a red ball cap, khaki shorts, red shirt.
  2. White male 5'6'', 140 lbs, dark hair, yellow shirt, and blue jeans shorts.
  3. White female, pink pants (“pink” in black letters written on the left pant leg), white shirt, and dark blonde hair
  4. White female, white shirt, black shorts, blonde hair, and approx. 100 lbs.
  5. White female, blue jean Capri pants, salmon colored shirt, and dark hair below her shoulders.

 

The suspect vehicle is a mid 90's Ford Explorer, white or silver in color, large chrome wheels (five – star spoke design), and two door. Possible a sport model.

On 6 May 2009 (Wednesday) at approx. 0200 hours, the above suspects force entry into the Concession Stand located at Noonday Park . Miscellaneous candies and small amount of cash was stolen. The management of the Concession stand report the Concession Stand has experienced other burglaries in the past. The white male appeared to be wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt, wearing a white “doo-rag, unshaven face and carrying a duffel bag. The black male was wearing dark clothing, white “doo-rag, goatee, and wearing gloves while carrying a brown piece of luggage. On 22 May 2009 (Friday) at approx. 1317 hours, the above suspects stole approximately $ 15,000.00 worth of Cigarettes from the above-mentioned store. One of the suspects purchased 60 packs of Cigarettes on a prior occasion and gained the confidence of the store manager. The manager loaded the suspect vehicle with several cartons of Cigarettes and the suspects left the store parking lot without paying for the merchandise. The suspect vehicle description is listed a four door Lincoln Continental with an out of state tag.

PROPERTY DAMAGE / TRESPASS

113 beat, Bells Ferry Rd @ I-575. On 06/11/09, Officer Rickerson reported that an unknown suspect spray painted the words Dead Cops on the pillars holding up the bridge. There is an elaborate (Dead Cops) paint job on Chastain Road near Canton Road behind the rear of a storage building on a poured concrete wall.  Please contact the Cobb County Police CIU-1, if you have any information concerning these incidents.

The Acworth Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred on 04/20/2009 at the Staples on Cobb Parkway . On the security footage the above pictured black male enters the store, selects eight external computer hard drives and then leaves through the stock room emergency exit. The suspect is wearing a navy blue sweatshirt with a white logo on the left side of the chest, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a black baseball cap with a white letter or symbol on the front. Anyone with information on the above suspect is asked to contact the Acworth Police Department Investigations division at 770-974-3111.

 

Arthur Saul Locke

Arthur Saul Locke has been approaching elderly citizens door to door and offering to repave their driveways for $800 to $2,000. Locke tells them he was paving in the area and he has a couple of loads of asphalt as surplus which he needs to unload. After the work is done, Locke demands payment of $10,000 to $20,000. In at least one case, payment was made to Locke. Locke immediately cashed the check in Gainesville . Locke has a full crew working with him. Some of the vehicles used were a Chevy pickup truck, 2 dump trucks and an asphalt paver. incident.

Perez is wanted for a double homicide in Spartanburg S.C.
He is a member of the Riverside Locos street gang.

BOLO – POSSIBLE BURGLARY SUSPECTS

 

IN THE AREA OF 111, 112, AND 113 BEAT.


February 19, 2009

Over the past several months there have been several burglaries that have occurred in subdivisions along Hamby Road , Hickory Grove Road, and Wade Green Road . There has also been one off of Canton Road . In a couple of these burglaries the only suspicious activity was 3 to 4 white males driving a light blue or silver Ford Ranger extended cab going through the subdivisions asking for work. They would ask about cutting down trees, cleaning gutters, or small exterior house work. The victim's that observed the vehicle say there is no advertisement listed on the side of the vehicle. This usually occurs between the days of Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Any contact with this vehicle please stop and obtain all vehicle and occupant information.

The ones that have been victimized were homeowners who were not at home. Entry was made by forcing their way through a rear window or rear door of the residence.
